This is a fresh celebrity news in the Philippines. It has been confirmed that Starstruck 3 Sole Survivor winner Marky Cielo died this dawn at his Antipolo home. According to the article on PEP, Marky Cielo's mom went to his room around 6 A.M. and wasn't able to wake him for a charity event.
There was an initial report that he died on his sleep. The cause of Marky Cielo's death is still unclear though at the moment. Let's just wait on the coming days on the cause of his sudden death.
Marky Cielo is a main stay of SOP, Obra and La Lola of GMA Network.
My condolences to the family and friends of Marky Cielo. The remains of the young actor lies at St. Peter's Chapel in Quezon City. Marky Cielo is only 20.

a friend of mine told me that marky died this morning [sunday, december 7, 2008] i was intrigued whether it was true or not. but it was confirmed on PEP.com and i was shocked... another kababayan passed away so young...
indeed it is tragic but everything have their reasons...

GMA is planning to revive Starstruck this year... and hopefully they'll find another Marky Cielo is humble, talented and proud of his roots.
Maybe he indeed died in his sleep as males can die in sleep as early as 20 yrs old... I have known someone who dies at 22... that is very young and it is so sad to think that at this age, one is only beginning to start a life.

it is sad to see this, I read in paper a young man push his gf off the building then try to suicide but failed.
I feel sad that he died at this young age.
